Privacy policy

The short version: this website uses no cookies and no analytics, Ogun sends no telemetry, and we only process personal data when you write to us or use the hosted pre-alpha hub.

Effective 2026-10-06Last updated 2026-10-26Applies to ogun-site.vercel.app and Ogun

Summary

  • This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our hosting provider processes basic request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
  • The Ogun software runs on your computer and sends nothing to Verne: no telemetry, no crash reports, no account. Your history, settings and permissions stay on your device.
  • The hosted pre-alpha hub keeps what you store there until a nightly reset and sets only the cookies it needs to sign you in; details below.
  • If you email us, we use your address and message to reply, and nothing else.

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here is Verne Ltd., 8/A, Sher-e-Bangla Road, Zighatola, Dhaka-1209, Bangladesh. Contact: info@vernesystems.com, +880 1870 034384. Ogun is a product of Verne Ltd. ("Verne", "we", "us").

What this policy covers

This policy covers the website at https://ogun-site.vercel.app, the Ogun software, and messages you send us. It does not cover websites you download from, AI assistants or other tools you connect to Ogun, or third-party sites we link to; each has its own terms and policies.

This website

What is processed

When you load a page, your browser sends a request that includes your IP address, the page address, the time, your browser’s user agent and, sometimes, the address of the page that linked here. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes this request data to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse, and may keep it in server logs for a short period under its own retention rules (see its privacy policy). We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not combine it with other data.

What is not processed

No cookies, no local storage, no analytics or session recording, no advertising, no fingerprinting, no social-media embeds and no third-party scripts. Fonts and artwork are served from this site itself. Our cookie notice has the details.

Machine-readable files

We publish files such as llms.txt and sitemap.xml so search and answer engines can read the site. Fetching them is like loading any page.

The Ogun software

Ogun runs on your machine. It sends nothing to Verne: no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reports, no account. The one exception is your choice of hub: the 0.0.1a desktop Studio opens on the hosted pre-alpha hub described below, and switches to your own daemon in Settings, Environments.

What Ogun keeps on your machine

  • Workflows, their versions and hashes; run records, events, checkpoints and the cost ledger.
  • The content-addressed artifact store and lineage records, including source addresses (with secret parameters redacted in logs and exports).
  • An audit log of approvals and policy changes.
  • Secrets you give ogund for data sources and model providers (ogun secrets), kept in a secrets folder in its state directory that only your user can read, zeroized in memory, and never logged or written to run records.

Datasets you collect may contain personal data published by others. You are responsible for handling it lawfully; Ogun’s lineage and deletion tools are there to help.

Network connections

Ogun connects only to the sources your workflows name, to model providers you configure for LLM operators (sending only what the operator and your privacy setting allow), and, if you link it, to the Zeus app on the same computer. Benchmark runs have network access only if the benchmark requires it.

Browser sessions

Ogun never handles browser cookies. Sources behind a browser login are acquired by the Zeus app on your behalf, after you approve the site in Zeus; Ogun receives the files and their provenance, not the session.

The hosted pre-alpha hub

Verne runs a pre-alpha hub at https://ogun.103.191.50.32.sslip.io on its own server so you can try Ogun Studio without installing anything. It is a shared sample: one sample account whose password is shown on its sign-in page, sample data, and a reset every night.

  • What it keeps: what you store there (workflows, runs and their outputs) until the nightly reset, visible to every other visitor; agent threads and settings you change, per browser, for 24 hours. Do not enter anything private or personal.
  • Cookies: a sign-in session cookie and an anonymous visitor cookie, both needed for the service to work, no tracking.
  • Logs: the web server keeps ordinary request logs (IP address, time, address, user agent), rotated, to keep the service working and secure.
  • No model: the agent on the hub calls no AI model; nothing you type is sent to a third party.

AI assistants and other tools you connect

If you connect an AI assistant to Ogun (for example through the Model Context Protocol), Ogun returns information about your jobs to that assistant, such as file names, sizes, folders, status and checksums. Ogun redacts secrets such as tokens and signed-link parameters from what it returns and never returns cookies or credentials. What your assistant does with the information is governed by your assistant provider’s terms and privacy policy, not by us.

When you contact us

If you email us, we process your email address, name if given, and your message to reply. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it. Our email service provider processes these messages on our behalf.

Legal bases

Where laws such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation apply, we rely on: legitimate interests for delivering and securing the website and the hosted service and replying to messages; and legal obligations where we must keep or disclose information.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell or rent personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Our service providers (hosting and email) process data only on our instructions. Verne is based in Bangladesh and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our users, the public or Verne.

Security

The website is static, served over HTTPS with strict security headers and no third-party code. The Ogun software is designed so that secrets are never logged or written to disk, and approvals can only be given by a person. Read more in our security policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, write to info@vernesystems.com; we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Data that Ogun keeps on your own computer is under your control: you can view and delete it there.

Children

This website and Ogun are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change, and change the "last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will say so at the top of this page. Earlier versions are kept in the website’s source history.
